Even though school is closed until April 6, Friends Feeding Friends will continue to pack and deliver weekend meals for Johnson County students. This week we handed out around 110 weekend bags.
We will be handing out weekend bags next Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Meadowlark Elementary School and Kaycee School, and we can make deliveries if they are requested. If you, your child or a child you know is in need of a weekend meal, please call Sharon Miller at 619-756-3876.
