Our program has been blessed with amazing volunteers from the get go. Very rarely have I ever had a group cancel or not show up. This weeks scheduled packers accidently double booked themselves and were kind enough to give me advanced notice. I\’m always blown away by how quickly a volunteer spot gets filled! In less than an hour after requesting, I had four National Honor Society Members sign up for the task. Cora Turner, Emma Pehringer, Sydnie Norman and Wiley Waller showed after a full day of school and hours of sports practice in the rain! They were cold and hungry when they arrived, so I filled them up with a few healthy snacks and they got busy! These kids are amazing! Thank you NHS for showing up with short notice and in the pouring rain!
